Who are Quality Medical Solutions?
Quality Medical Solutions are providers of quality
management software tools and services to the primary healthcare sector.
Our latest product, QMS
Practice Focus, provides PCTs and individual practices with an
effective quality management tool to assist in the management of many
targets. Practice Focus provides over 750 indicators covering many
Enhanced Service areas as well as the nGMS Contract QOF indicators.
Practice Focus is in use by several PCTs as an effective
means of collecting statistical data from practices.
We also provide consultancy and training to support
practices to develop quality improvement action plans, and to
prioritise practice development.
QMS software for PCTs
QMS
specialises in providing
software and support services to general practices and primary care
trusts. Our
latest product, Practice Focus, can be installed across all practices
in a PCT,
and provides PCTs with a tool to streamline data collection according
to
requirements, for example:
- Statistical data for performance monitoring.
- Anonymised data for research and public health
purposes.
- Patient identifiable data to populate central
databases, for example:
- Central retinal screening register.
- Direct upload of immunisation data to PCT database
- Health Checks Programme
QMS software for practices
Practice Focus provides practices with a
comprehensive quality improvement tool and will support pratice
development in many areas including:
- Chronic disease management targets (including QOF).
- Child immunisation targets (DES and HPA).
- Flu and pneumococcal (including pandemic flue and
uploads to HPA).
- Enhanced services (DES, bespoke LES audits, and local
QOF arrangements).
- Referrals.
- Health Check Programme.
Practice Focus has a particular emphasis on improving data quality,
registers, and ensuring prevalence figures are accurate. This can be
extremely valuable to minimise potential losses due to changes to the
financial calculations for QOF this year.
