------- updated 1 April 2007 ---------

QMS Contract Focus has several prerequisites:

MIQUEST must be installed and configured on your practice system

Microsoft Excel must be available on all systems that will be used to read Contract Focus reports

Adobe Acrobat reader (version 5+) is required to read the online documents

We recommend that Windows and Excel are updated to the latest service pack level.

The following Windows versions are supported:
- Windows 2000 SP4
- Windows XP SP2
- Windows NT - not recommended, but SP6 +

The following Office/Excel service packs are supported:
- Excel 2000 (SP3 recommended)
- Excel XP (2002) (SP3 recommended)
- Excel 2003 (SP1 recommended)

Mandatory Service Packs
Excel 2003: If you upgrade from Excel 2000/Excel 2002 to Excel 2003, with an old (before 1.01.0090) version of Contract Focus, you may experience this problem
Acrobat Reader 7: If you upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7, you may find that links to documentation no longer work. Installing Acroabat update 7.0.1 will fix this as described here.
