Why can't I have Practice Focus on more than one machine?
The main program acts as a server for the data, if it were to be installed on any other machine in the practice this would cause a database conflict error.
Our Practice is changing clinical system, will I still be able to use Practice Focus?
The Practice Focus software is designed to work with many clinical systems, if your practice is considering changing to another clinical system then please contact our support team and we can discuss your requirements.
What happens in event of a hardware failure on the main Practice Focus machine?
If the main Practice Focus machine suffers a failure and cannot be recovered then this is not a problem, If you contact our support team we can arrange to install the software and restore the database to the replacement machine.
Can I view Practice Focus Reports on other machines?
Unlike the main Practice Focus program, the reports icon can be installed on any machine in the practice provided it is connected to the practice network.
My main Practice Focus machine is due to be replaced, what do I need to do beforehand?
If your Practice Focus machine is scheduled to be replaced then please contact our support team, we will be able to arrange a full backup of the database and a fresh installation when the replacement machine is ready.
I want to move the Practice Focus installation to another machine, can I do this?
Should you need the Practice Focus installation moved to another machine then this can be arranged, please contact our support team who will schedule this at a time convenient for you.
Can I add new user accounts to Practice Focus?
